Catch-Up,  Family

Hey, it’s been a minute

So much has been happening, & so much has change, but yet God remains the same. Like you all I have been trying to cope. I had a lot of goals last year that was not met and many unfinished projects. Already 3 months into 2021, yet I am still stagnant.

But first lets count some of my blessings:

I arrived at the hospital with two massive clots in both lungs & in my left leg on the verge of a stroke and walked out a couple days later to heal at home in the midst of Covid 19.

While many restaurants was closing their doors; my husband place of business remained open.

My son graduated high school with honors, & currently attending Morehouse College online.

Congratulations Greg — Class of 2020

My daughter had Bells Palsy and has fully recovered.

& the family unit is stronger than ever…. ex. my sister, Elizabeth took 3 weeks off from work to come care for me after my release from the hospital. Myriam, packed up her two children in the midst of Covid in July to come spend time with me. All to say, in time of sickness the family comes to the rescue.

It’s so easy to talk about the negative and not realize what God has carried us through.

So looking forward to closing out this school year!!!!

Let me just add that this note has been sitting in draft…. since March. LOL
